Our Mission and History

Our Mission:

To provide financial assistance to graduating seniors in their pursuit of post-secondary education

Our Roots

Genevieve Wade was the mother of the organizer, she passed away in 2011. Her daughter Dorothy Jaquemai and husband Jerry Jaquemai created this ride alongside many volunteers to honor Genevieve in the best way they knew how. With the continued support of the community, it has grown to be the ride it is today. Their goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for riders from all around Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. It takes place in Crawleyville, IN, just outside of Owensville.

Mom had a servant’s heart ever since I can remember. Through the work she did as a CNA in the nursing home, to being a trustee helping our neighbors, working at the food bank in Owensville, to volunteering at the Watermelon Festival, the list goes on and on. The best thing is she was a listener and whenever she heard people needed help, she would make sure they got what they needed. After her passing in 2011, the stories of who she helped and how she helped started to be told. I felt like that giving spirit had to be kept alive so I created the Genevieve Wade Memorial Scholarship Fund. To this date we have helped 133 kids go to college giving out $131,250 in honor of my Mom.
